In 2020, Google Japan created its first AI Competition (site in Japanese) – aimed for kids!
I came up with a visual language that would work well in this context : modular, and capable to re-organize itself – with a bit of code – on a whim for infinite design variations, then worked with our engineering team to make it a reality.
I also created the main design for the landing page, the trophy for the winner, and some swag to use during the event.

The result was featured prominently on Japanese national media, local print media and internet, and hopefully helped to sow the seeds for a new generation of future – thinking young learners!
